Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the use of the Citobet platform and apply to every registered account. By creating an account, a player accepts the conditions set out below in full. Where these terms reference a specific bonus figure, the current welcome offer of 200% up to €1,000 is used as an example; full bonus terms are detailed on the Bonuses page.

1. Eligibility

  • Players must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal gambling age in their jurisdiction of residence if higher, to register an account.
  • Citobet does not accept players resident in jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited or unlicensed; a current list of restricted territories is maintained in account registration and may change without prior notice.
  • One account is permitted per person, household, address, email address and payment method. Duplicate accounts will be closed and any associated bonus funds forfeited.
  • Providing false information during registration, including age or identity details, constitutes grounds for immediate account closure and forfeiture of funds.

2. Account Verification

Identity verification (KYC) is required before a player’s first withdrawal. Required documents typically include a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address dated within the last three months. Citobet reserves the right to request additional documentation, including proof of payment method ownership, at any time to comply with anti-money-laundering obligations. Withdrawals will not be processed until verification is complete.

3. Deposits and Withdrawals

Minimum deposit€10 (€20 for bank transfer)
Maximum single withdrawalVaries by method, see Payments table
Withdrawal processing2 hours to 5 business days depending on method

Withdrawals must be requested using the same payment method used for the most recent qualifying deposit where technically possible, in line with anti-money-laundering requirements. Where this is not possible, Citobet may request an alternative verified method.

4. Bonus Terms Summary

Full bonus conditions are published on the Bonuses page and form part of these terms by reference. Key points include:

  • Wagering requirements must be completed within the stated validity period, or the bonus and associated winnings are forfeited automatically.
  • A maximum bet limit applies while any bonus balance is active; exceeding it voids the remaining bonus and related winnings.
  • Winnings generated from bonus funds are capped at a stated multiple of the bonus amount.
  • Bonuses may be declined in advance of a qualifying deposit through account settings or by contacting support.

5. Responsible Gambling

Citobet provides account-level deposit limits, loss limits, wagering limits, session reminders and self-exclusion tools at no cost. Self-exclusion requests, once confirmed, cannot be reversed or shortened before the selected period expires. Players concerned about their gambling, or that of someone else, are encouraged to contact a local support organisation; relevant helpline details are listed in the site footer.

6. Account Suspension and Closure

Citobet reserves the right to suspend or close an account where there is reasonable suspicion of:

  • Fraudulent activity, including the use of stolen payment methods.
  • Bonus abuse, including coordinated play across multiple accounts or betting patterns designed to exploit promotional terms.
  • Breach of these terms or applicable law in the player’s jurisdiction.
  • Providing false or misleading information during registration or verification.

Where an account is closed for a confirmed breach, Citobet reserves the right to withhold funds directly connected to the breach, pending investigation and, where applicable, regulatory review.

7. Game Rules and Malfunctions

In the event of a verified software malfunction affecting game outcome, Citobet reserves the right to void affected rounds and return the original stake, in line with standard industry practice and regulatory guidance. Published RTP and volatility figures are provided by game studios and represent long-run theoretical averages rather than a guarantee for any individual session.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Citobet is not liable for losses arising from internet connectivity issues, third-party payment processing delays, or events outside its direct control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Maltese law or the law of the player’s jurisdiction where mandatory consumer protections apply.

9. Dispute Resolution

Complaints should first be raised with customer support through live chat or email. If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, players may escalate it to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider named on the operator’s licence certificate, in accordance with Malta Gaming Authority requirements.

10. Changes to These Terms

Citobet may update these terms from time to time to reflect regulatory, operational or commercial changes. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-account notice ahead of taking effect. Continued use of the account after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection law applicable in the player’s country of residence.
